The Hime Series was created as a Japanese adaption to the book "A Little Princess" by Francis Hodgson Burnett.
This is a research based project as an attempt to explore and learn about other cultures. I selected Japan as the culture due to their unique and interesting architecture as well as fascinating culture. Based on the idea that the name of the main character Sara meant princess in Hebrew, I decided to name the series “Hime” after its Japanese pronunciation.
