OVERVIEW

HyperStars is an arcade style 2D fighting game with a unique tug of war health mechanic and 3 button attack layout. The combat puts emphasis on style, allowing you to juggle and perform combos in air.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

I worked as a contributor on this project alongside my thesis, so my role in the overall production of the game is relatively small.

• Implementing Data Tracking software (Tinylitics) by Alexander King
• Run playtests with a variety of players and playstyles
• Analysing the data and writing reports
• Taking rough sketches of the character’s animation frames and cleaning them up
